The Quest
If you ask someone what the word collectible means you will get different answers. Non-collectors may reference Cabbage Patch dolls, Beanie Babies, and other figurines marketed as collectibles. They might also include stamps or coins. Interestingly, the collector will talk about the feelings that a particular item evokes, perhaps, because it is a part of their personal history. They'll talk about the investment of time and money spent acquiring their collection. Though collectors would like the value of their collections to increase, for the most part, that is not why they started their quest. It's just something they need more of and can't seem to get enough.
